Genitourinary Pathology Fellowship

This one year fellowship provides in-depth diagnostic training and groundwork for those considering academic or subspecialty-based genitourinary pathology practice. The GU section covers a wide-range of neoplasms of the urinary system, male genital organs and adrenal gland. The GU fellow is expected to participate in teaching and guidance of rotating residents and medical students, and actively in multidisciplinary care. Scholarly activities are mandatory to receive a certificate of fellowship completion.

A minimum of three years' training in anatomic pathology or four years' training that combines anatomic and clinical pathology. The candidate must be able to obtain an Illinois medical license.

Commensurate with level of training.
