Education
The Department of Pathology at the University of Chicago offers a wide range of educational opportunities to medical students, residents, fellows, graduate students, post-graduate fellows, and visitors.
Those who are familiar with medical training know that pathology plays a vital role in medical education, contributing much to the core curriculum in medical school, ranging from introductory histology to microbiology to integrated pathology. Appropriately so, the value of this education and these educational endeavors is retained and emphasized even more so as one progresses through their pathology career. This department attracts those who enjoy teaching students, working alongside trainees, sharing their experiences, and pursuing knowledge.
